Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Dedication to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assess students needs regarding fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living within the school context
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress
• Maintain accurate records and write detailed progress notes and reports
• Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding strategies to support student participation
• Support students in achieving greater independence and classroom participation
