This contract opportunity is perfect for passionate Occupational Therapists eager to make an impact across multiple school settings, from elementary to high school, covering ages Pre K through age 22 as students transition to adulthood. As part of an itinerant team, youll travel between different school sites within the district, helping students develop crucial life skills and reach their full potential.

The assignment runs ASAP through June 2027, offering full-time hours (35-37.5 per week) with varying start and end times depending on each schools schedule. Each week presents a unique, engaging caseload, ensuring no day is ever the same.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Active educator license with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Must be willing and able to travel between assigned school sites
• Completion of fingerprinting and all time-sensitive credentialing required prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OT services to students ranging from Pre K to age 22
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student engagement and independence
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs based on student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring across sites
