Your expertise will provide students with tailored interventions and promote their development, independence, and participation in educational activities. Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois
• Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
• Promote adaptive strategies to enhance students learning experiences and daily functioning
