Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students across the North Denver area as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. We're seeking two dedicated registered Occupational Therapistsone full-time (approximately 37.5 hours per week) and one part-time (0.8 FTE)who are passionate about making a difference from preschool through high school.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Colorado
- CO Department of Education (DOE) license
- DORA certification
- Prior experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads ranging from 40 to 60 students (a mix of direct and indirect services), adjusted to ensure equitable workload distribution based on the unique demands at each school site, especially those with pre-k and specialized programs
- Provide developmentally appropriate OT services supporting student participation in educational activities
- Participate in evaluations, IEP meetings, and collaborative planning with educators and families
- Deliver interventions and accommodations according to student needs and IEP goals
- Contribute to the school community through professional growth and by supporting colleagues
Additional Assignment Details:
- Attend Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation from July 27-31, 2026 (required)
- Contract begins August 3, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027
- Work on-site at 2 assigned campuses (TBD) in the North Denver area
