Step into a rewarding full-time contract role in the Denver area, shaping student success for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. As part of this position, you'll enjoy consistent Monday through Friday scheduling, with 37.5 hours each week throughout the school year. Caseloads and assignments are tailored to the districts evolving priorities, offering you the chance to hone your skills and positively impact students from a range of age groups.
Your background in school-based therapy, paired with your expertise in supporting students functional and academic participation, will be central to your success in this role.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certificate
- Valid Colorado Occupational Therapy License
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric setting, preferably as a school occupational therapist
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to creating inclusive learning environments
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students needs, develop individual treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Support academic engagement by implementing strategies for fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Document services, evaluate outcomes, and participate actively in multidisciplinary teams
- Travel between assigned schools as dictated by caseload (assignments vary)
