Based onsite at a welcoming charter school near Aurora, CO, you'll work closely with a manageable and meaningful caseload, fostering students developmental and academic progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license required
- Prior experience working within schools, especially K-12 environments, is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Commitment to building supportive relationships with students, staff, and families
Position Overview:
- Work part-time, 1.5 days each week during the academic year (August 13th, 2026 May 20th, 2027)
- Provide onsite occupational therapy services exclusively (teletherapy is not available)
- Directly manage a caseload of approximately 20 students, offering assessments, interventions, and support for diverse needs
- Create and update documentation tailored to each student's IEP and progress
- Partner with teachers and special education teams to promote student success
