Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active GA OT license or eligibility to obtain
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting (preferred)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress
- Passionate about supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and set measurable goals
- Collaborate with teachers and families to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt interventions to meet the unique challenges of each student, fostering independence
