Make a significant impact supporting students growth and development by providing high-quality occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment near Auburn, WA. This full-time, contract position involves working with approximately 41 students split between an elementary and middle school, all within one campus, for the duration of the 2026/2027 academic year (September to June). Your expertise will contribute to building students' skills and confidence, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist License for the state of Washington
- Experience delivering OT services in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement individualized therapy plans for students in both elementary and middle school
- Work onsite, partnering with teachers and special education teams to integrate therapy into students' daily routines
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Support students in reaching their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally
