Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Maine
- Experience supporting pediatric or school-based populations, particularly preschoolers
- Familiarity with a variety of OT settings including home health, healthcare, and teletherapy is a plus
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication skills for working with parents, teachers, and school staff
- Commitment to maintaining accurate, compliant documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based OT services to a preschool caseload
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to IEP/IFSP meetings as needed
- Offer parent and teacher consultation for strategies to reinforce goals in various settings
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions for maximum impact
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
