Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and active Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student plans
  • Demonstrated commitment to student-centered therapy and evidence-based practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to support student participation and success across learning environments
  • Track student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document all services in alignment with school and regulatory requirements
  • Provide consultative support and training for teachers and parents regarding strategies to promote students functional skills
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and comply with all district and professional guidelines
