Job Description

Make a significant impact supporting students across diverse age groups as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in the North Denver area. This contract opportunity offers two positions: one full-time and one 0.8 FTE, both integral to fostering student growth from preschool through high school. You'll play a key role in a district that values equitable caseload assignments, thoughtfully tailored to each school's unique needsespecially those with specialized or preschool programs. Prior to the academic year, new team members are invited to the essential Summer Symposium Orientation (July 27-31, 2026) to ensure a smooth and informed start.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license
  • CO Department of Education (DOE) license
  • Up-to-date DORA certification required
  • School-based OT experience highly preferred
  • Comfort working with a caseload of 40-60 students (direct and indirect service)
  • Flexibility to cover two school sites as assigned
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, create intervention plans, and implement therapy for students ages preschool through high school
  • Provide both direct and indirect services as determined by each students IEP
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation per state and district policies
  • Engage in professional development at the Summer Symposium (July 27-31)
  • Adapt service delivery to preschools and specialized program sites as needed
