This part-time contract opportunity is designed for a caring OT who thrives in an educational environment, working onsite with a manageable caseload and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current OT license required
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and families
- Commitment to upholding the ethical standards and best practices of occupational therapy
Responsibilities:
- Assess and address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills for a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Create and implement targeted therapy interventions that support student learning and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated support and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
