Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students growth and independence through occupational therapy services in a K-12 setting near Arlington, TX. This full-time, onsite position offers the unique chance to make a meaningful difference across varied grade levels, with a manageable caseload of 4560 students dependent on service needs. Youll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in Texas via the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
- Experience providing occupational therapy in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads, documentation, and scheduling
- Passion for helping students achieve functional goals in educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate students functional abilities and develop appropriate intervention plans
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Adapt interventions to address students evolving needs throughout the school year
