What youll bring:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (IL OT License required)
• Previous school-based OT experience, preferably with middle school-aged students
• Solid understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices within educational settings
• Ability to adapt strategies for both general education and self-contained student populations
• Familiarity with state and local guidelines, including PEL certification if required
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to a caseload of 30 students in grades 68
• Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Partner with educators, special education teams, and families to promote student participation in school routines
• Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes, documenting services and outcomes
• Recommend strategies, accommodations, and assistive technology to enhance student learning and engagement
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district requirements
