Job Description

Step into an engaging school-based opportunity supporting intermediate students in grades 35 through the next academic year. This contract position is tailored for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working collaboratively within a single dedicated school building.

In this role, you will work closely with students and staff, primarily offering consultation and providing direct services focused on fine motor and sensory support for a caseload of approximately 25 students. The position spans the school year, beginning September 8, 2026, and ending June 16, 2027.

Schedule details:

  • 8:05 am to 2:45 pm
  • 2 to 3 days out of the week (flexible options: two full days or more days with shorter hours)

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Previous experience in a school environment, preferably at the 3rd5th grade level
  • Strong skills in student consultation, fine motor interventions, and sensory support strategies
  • Effective communication and collaborative abilities to partner with teachers and parents

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative and direct services to students needing fine motor and sensory interventions
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement intervention strategies within the classroom
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress
  • Adapt plans to address individual student needs and goals within the caseload
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP planning as needed
