Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist looking to make an impact in an educational setting. This part-time position spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering .6 hours weekly (24 total hours split Monday through Friday). Youll be working in an Early Childhood environment and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and participation. Exact caseload details are forthcoming, but flexibility and the ability to adapt will be important for success.

Qualifications:

  • Active certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience with pediatric or special education populations strongly preferred
  • Comfortable traveling within school buildings as needed to provide services
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultative services to students as outlined in IEPs or 504 plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to create and implement individualized therapeutic strategies
  • Document and report student progress, maintaining compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that enhances each childs participation and independence
  • Attend and contribute to relevant meetings with staff and parents
