Job Description

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois OT license and credentials
  • Experience or strong interest in working with children, particularly within a school environment
  • Skills in School, Home Health, and Healthcare Occupational Therapy practices
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Compassion, adaptability, and collaborative spirit

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary-age students
  • Assess and document student needs, set measurable goals, and deliver interventions tailored to individual strengths and challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each childs IEP and overall success
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Contribute actively to IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
  • Advocate for student accessibility, inclusion, and skill development in classroom and school activities
