Make a meaningful impact each day supporting students' growth and independence as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity involves an itinerant role, working across multiple elementary, middle, and high school campuses near Arlington Heights, IL, with a focus on students ages Pre-K through Transition (up to 22 years old). Your skills will help foster student engagement and functional success in academic settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting strongly preferred
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing promptly
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and passion for student-centered support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for a diverse, school-based caseload ranging from preschoolers to young adults
• Travel between multiple assigned school sites within the district to deliver consistent, high-quality care
• Assess students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Track progress and maintain thorough documentation according to school and state standards
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to promote students participation in all aspects of school life and smooth transitions across age groups
