This position is full-time and based onsite, aligning with the academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year. Orientation for new hires is scheduled from August 12th to August 14th, helping you seamlessly transition into your role.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois OT or COTA license (please provide a copy with your application; licenses can be verified at the Illinois License Lookup).
  • Experienced in school-based occupational therapy or open to supporting students K-12.
  • Familiarity with the needs of special education populations and a collaborative, student-centered approach.
  • Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and grade assignments as determined by school needs.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with IEPs and student goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies designed to enhance student independence and participation in school activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and federal guidelines.
