A unique opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to support elementary-aged students in a welcoming school environment. This contract role offers a focused schedulejust one morning a weekallowing for a perfect balance between professional impact and personal flexibility. Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse elementary caseloads
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to fostering student engagement and independence
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in-person to elementary students, working 8:00am12:00pm one day per week
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement tailored treatment plans
- Work alongside educators and other specialists to ensure a holistic, individualized approach
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Offer direct and consultative support to maximize student participation and achievement
