Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
• Strong ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse elementary caseloads
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to fostering student engagement and independence

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in-person to elementary students, working 8:00am12:00pm one day per week
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement tailored treatment plans
• Work alongside educators and other specialists to ensure a holistic, individualized approach
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Offer direct and consultative support to maximize student participation and achievement
