Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Illinois
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred, especially with therapeutic day schools
• Strong communication abilities for collaboration with educators, parents, and other therapists

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess student needs, create and implement effective therapy plans, and regularly evaluate progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into daily classroom routines
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports as required by school and regulatory standards
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, providing expertise and insight for student success
