Exciting opportunities await for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about making a difference for young learners. This part-time contract role is designed for professionals eager to contribute as part of an Early Interventionist Team, focusing on children aged 3 to 4 years. The position is onsite and offers a unique chance to support early developmental milestones in a school setting.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Louisiana OT or COTA license required
  • Experience working with pediatric or early childhood populations preferred
  • Comfortable providing therapy within a school environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to children ages 34, supporting their functional and academic development
  • Assess students needs and design individualized interventions in alignment with educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to ensure an integrated approach
  • Document therapy services, progress, and recommendations with accuracy and efficiency
  • For COTA applicants, supervision and ongoing support will be provided
  • Balance your schedule working 4 hours each day, 4 days per week (2 days in the North area, 2 in the South)
