Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license with demonstrated school-based experience
• Previous success supporting students with complex educational needs
• Ability to navigate school schedules, adjust to assignment lengths, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
• Must complete thorough onboarding and a background check through the agency and district
• Standing in good credentialed status, especially if previously placed through similar roles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students identified for Setting IV special education
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to develop and implement IEP goals
• Document progress, attend meetings, and contribute to an inclusive school environment
• Adapt therapy plans to student progress and evolving needs
• Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, district guidelines, and ethical standards
