Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in working with students ages 518
  • Familiarity with IEPs, related documentation, and individualized intervention planning
  • Adaptability to work in both group and 1:1 settings within school environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Passion for empowering students to build essential skills for academic and daily life

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services per IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate compliance records
  • Utilize creativity and evidence-based strategies to adapt the learning environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
