Job Description

This contract position covers the 2026-2027 school year, providing hands-on therapy for a diverse group of approximately 30 students with a variety of disabilities. Skills and Experience Required:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license (OT) in Minnesota
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in a school setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality OT services to an elementary caseload across multiple grade levels
  • Evaluate students strengths and areas for growth, developing and implementing targeted interventions
  • Support students in achieving their educational and functional goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor progress towards Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Participate in meetings with staff and parents, creating a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
