Job Description

Required Background and Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Minnesota OT license (must be submitted with your resume to be considered)
  • Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist, preferably at the high school level
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
  • Comfortable providing coverage during a temporary leave period

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to high school students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized intervention plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support student access to curriculum and foster independence
  • Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Provide support, strategies, and education to families and school personnel as appropriate
