This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist skilled in providing therapeutic services within a school setting, located in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a contract position designed to support students' developmental and functional needs, promoting their ability to participate fully in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in meetings and assist in designing accommodations and modifications for students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license valid in Alaska.
• Experience working as an OT in school settings.
• Knowledge of special education laws and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
