A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students within a school setting in Anaheim, CA. This full-time contract position is designed for the 2025-2026 school year, offering a 40-hour workweek and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students developmental and functional skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs within a school environment
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assessing students to identify strengths and areas for improvement related to motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Delivering therapy using evidence-based techniques to enhance student participation and success in school activities
- Managing caseload with flexibility to accommodate candidate location and preferences, with specific grade levels and caseload details to be determined
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
- Prior experience working as an OT within a schools setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to deliver onsite services in Anaheim, CA
