A K-12 school in Allentown, PA is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide specialized support and services to students under a contract for the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to improving student functional outcomes through skilled therapeutic interventions in an educational setting.
This position requires a valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license to ensure compliance with state regulations and deliver high-quality care. The role includes a full-time schedule, working 35 hours per week across five days, offering the opportunity to engage consistently with a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy licensure required
- Experience working with K-12 students in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support student participation in academic and daily activities
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, treatment, and consultation to students on caseload
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student goals
- Modify interventions to meet diverse student needs in both individual and group settings
