Located near Algonquin, IL, this contract role offers consistent weekday hours, allowing you to focus on fostering students success throughout the 26/27 school year.
Bring your expertise in school-based OT interventions and collaborative care to an engaging educational environment. Youll help students reach their fullest potential, working closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop personalized plans and track progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience in school-based practice strongly preferred
- Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and documentation processes
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to adapt interventions to suit varying developmental and physical needs of students in grades K-12
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, evaluation, and direct therapy services for students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom
- Document and report student progress in accordance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise on occupational therapy services
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.14 to $68.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
