A full-time opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels at a school located in Albuquerque, NM. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, working in person to provide essential therapeutic services that help students succeed academically and functionally.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to students specific needs
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to approximately 30 students, with a focus on elementary-aged children
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress and inclusion
• Document therapy sessions, track student progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet goals
• Utilize knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities within the school environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in New Mexico
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary students
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work independently within a team
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for students receiving therapy
