Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students within a collaborative educational setting near Albuquerque, NM. This full-time, on-site contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact, working 37.5 hours each week. Youll engage primarily with elementary-aged students, while also having the chance to interact with middle and high schoolers across a caseload of about 30 students. Your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will be integral in helping young learners achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
• Preferred experience in elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Strong ability to assess and develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of best practices in pediatric therapy within a school-based framework
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Motivation to empower diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Evaluate students needs and regularly document progress
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
• Develop strategies and accommodations to foster student participation and independence
• Promote inclusive practices and advocate for student success within the school environment
• Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams to support students holistic development
