This full-time, in-person contract opportunity spans 37.5 hours per week and provides the chance to collaborate across elementary, middle, and high schools.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Ability to manage and organize a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Comfortable providing therapy services to elementary students, with some contact at middle and high school levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Passion for fostering independence and improving functional abilities in a school-based environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to students individual education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop effective strategies that meet students goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and progress updates
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and federal regulations
- Contribute to a positive, engaging, and inclusive educational experience
