Job Description
A full-time occupational therapist position is available in Albuquerque, NM, serving a diverse student population primarily at the elementary level, with some middle and high school students. This in-person role is based in a school setting and offers a 37.5-hour workweek on a contract basis.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments and providing therapeutic interventions for approximately 30 students on your caseload. You will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development and enhance learning outcomes. Experience working within school environments is highly preferred to successfully address the unique needs of children across various grade levels.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials
- Prior experience in elementary school settings preferred; middle and high school experience a plus
- Ability to manage a caseload of about 30 students effectively
- Skilled in pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational collaboration
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to delivering in-person services within the school environment
