Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Experience working in school-based settings is highly preferred

• Flexibility to manage diverse caseloads across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students ranging from elementary to high school
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs and educational goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student achievement and participation in school activities
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation as mandated by state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students functional performance within the classroom environment
