Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students across grades K12
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Consult with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings and reports
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to enhance students participation in the classroom and daily activities
• Adapt and modify classroom tasks and environments to promote accessibility and success
