Qualifications and Skills:

• Current Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents within a school environment
• Ability to develop and carry out targeted therapy plans for a variety of needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with school staff, students, and families
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to organize time effectively in a busy school setting

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs and create customized intervention plans
• Deliver onsite occupational therapy services for a full-time K-12 caseload
• Document evaluations, session notes, progress reports, and communicate results with multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to IEP meetings, goal-setting, and periodic reviews
• Provide consultation, training, and support for teachers and family members to enhance student participation in all activities
