Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with school-aged children, from elementary through high school
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs and individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in dynamic school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students functional abilities and develop targeted, individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with students IEP goals
  • Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and reports for each student served
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based student care
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment
