Your background should include:

• Current Virginia O&M Certification (required)
• Experience or interest in supporting K-12 students with varying abilities
• Strong communication skills and an approachable, adaptable demeanor
• Passion for fostering student independence and confidence
• Organizational skills and comfort traveling between multiple school sites

In this role, you will:

• Assess students orientation and mobility needs across several schools
• Provide tailored instruction for safe, independent movement in various environments
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized plans
• Maintain records and progress reports as required
• Serve as a resource and advocate for accessibility and mobility within the school community
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and team discussions as needed
