Orientation & Mobility Specialist (O&M / OMS) Job 

Location: Sanford, Florida
Schedule: Part-Time 
Hours: 1520 hours per week

O&M / OMS Position Overview:
A school district in the Oviedo/Sanford area is seeking two Orientation & Mobility Specialists to support K12 students for immediate consideration. This short-term assignment will focus primarily on completing evaluations and providing mobility support services to students with visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct O&M evaluations for students across K12 grade levels
  • Provide orientation and mobility support services as needed
  • Work with approximately 3 students per day, 3 days per week
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student independence and safety

O&M / OMS Requirements:

  • National Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Certification required
  • Must have Vision certification/experience in Schools
