Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Orientation and Mobility Specialist license issued by Massachusetts
- Demonstrated experience working in a school setting with K-12 students

- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs
- Dedication to fostering student independence and confidence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive orientation and mobility assessments tailored to each students abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized instructional plans that encourage safe and effective navigation in school, home, and community settings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary teamincluding teachers, related service providers, and family membersto support holistic student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and communication with stakeholders
- Provide training and consultation for staff, families, and caregivers as needed
