This opportunity is for an experienced Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) to support students across various age groups within a school setting. The full-time position is based in Andover, MA, and is a contract role for the 2025/2026 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation and mobility services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized strategies to enhance students' independence and safety
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and mobility goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Orientation and Mobility license in Massachusetts is required
- Experience working with K-12 students in school environments
- Ability to provide onsite services exclusively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Andover, MA
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (37.5 hours/week)
