Orientation & Mobility Specialist (O&M / OMS)
Location: Oviedo, Florida
Schedule: Part-Time
Hours: 1520 hours per week
Position Overview:
A school district in the Oviedo/Sanford area is seeking two Orientation & Mobility Specialists to support K12 students for immediate consideration. This short-term assignment will focus primarily on completing evaluations and providing mobility support services to students with visual impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct O&M evaluations for students across K12 grade levels
- Provide orientation and mobility support services as needed
- Work with approximately 3 students per day, 3 days per week
- Collaborate with school staff to support student independence and safety
Assignment Details:
- 2 openings available
- School sites TBD
- Short-term contract with immediate start
Requirements:
- National Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Certification required
- Must have Vision certification/experience
