This onsite role spans from August 24th through May 28th, serving elementary, middle, and high school students across the district.

Your expertise will empower students who are blind or visually impaired to develop vital life skills and achieve greater independence. Each day brings a new challengehelping students learn navigation and travel techniques, supporting them in using mobility tools like canes or guide dogs, and building confidence in everyday activities such as reading Braille, shopping, or handling money.

What you bring:

  • National certification required (ACVREP/COMS)
  • Experience working directly with children or young adults as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist
