Enjoy a focused schedule of approximately 2 hours per week during the next school year, working alongside educators and families to deliver both direct and indirect services tailored to each students unique needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Texas license as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS)
  • Strong background providing orientation and mobility instruction for children and youth in a school setting
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for effective case management and collaboration
  • Ability to track and report student progress with attention to detail
  • A commitment to student-centered support and fostering a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized orientation and mobility instruction to students requiring support
  • Provide both direct and indirect services as part of the students educational plan
  • Manage cases and coordinate with educational teams to ensure student goals are met
  • Maintain detailed records and track progress to inform instruction and report outcomes
