Job Description

A school-based Orientation and Mobility Specialist is needed for the 2026-2027 academic year in Glendale, AZ. This contract position offers a 35-hour workweek focused on supporting students with visual impairments to develop independent travel and orientation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mobility assessments and develop individualized orientation and mobility plans.
  • Teach safe and effective travel techniques to students with visual impairments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate mobility goals.
