This part-time opportunity as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) offers a rewarding role focused on supporting students' independence and navigation skills. Based in Duluth, GA, this contract position requires 20 hours per week with a commitment through May 20, 2026. The role involves a blend of case management, direct and indirect therapy services, and progress tracking to ensure effective outcomes for each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases efficiently, coordinating services to meet individual student needs
  • Deliver both direct and indirect therapy aimed at enhancing orientation and mobility skills
  • Track and report progress to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Valid Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certification is mandatory
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role working within educational settings supporting students with visual impairments
