Key Qualifications:

• Hold valid Ohio O&M Specialist certification
• Experience working with students in school settings is highly desirable
• Confidence managing diverse caseloads and adapting to individual student requirements
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educational teams, families, and students
• Ability to work independently and travel between school sites as needed

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized assessments of students orientation and mobility needs
• Develop and implement detailed instruction plans that promote independence and safety
• Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to integrate mobility goals into students IEPs
• Provide both one-on-one and small group instruction across different grade levels
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
• Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate varying developmental abilities
