What Were Looking For:
- Active Texas license as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS)
- Solid background in delivering both direct and indirect orientation and mobility services
- Precise documentation skills for tracking student progress
- Experience with school-based case management
- Commitment to professional standards and ethical practice
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation and mobility training and support as scheduled
- Manage individualized caseloads, tailoring services to meet student-specific needs
- Complete and maintain all required documentation, including detailed progress reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams and families
- Offer guidance, assessments, and recommendations for student programming
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
