Key Qualifications:

• Active professional license in Music Therapy (required)
• Experience working as a Music Therapist or Art Therapist in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Ability to provide documentation of licensure prior to placement
• Willingness to participate in a prescreen or internal eligibility interview

Role Overview:

• Provide music therapy services for one student, adapting interventions according to individual needs and IEP goals
• Deliver sessions up to 6 hours per week, with occasional increases (up to 10 hours/week) for required school meetings
• Coordinate with educational staff and engage in multidisciplinary planning as needed
• Document progress and maintain clear records of all sessions
• Work assignments will be determined within district boundaries, with specific school placement provided upon assignment
• Support the wider educational mission through therapeutic interventions that foster inclusion and growth
