Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program
• Current board certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC)
• Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents, preferably in school or educational settings
• Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to design and implement both individual and group music therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education environments is highly valued
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative music therapy services to students with a range of needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions based on student goals and abilities
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
